PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic multilayer coating film having high transparency and feeling of luminosity of an opal tone in which golden coloring can be recognized according to a viewing angle. SOLUTION: The multilayer coating film includes an aluminum-containing coating film containing aluminum pigment on a base material, a titanium-containing coating film containing titanium dioxide particulates on the aluminum-containing coating film and a clear coating film on the titanium-containing coating film. A median D<SB>50</SB>grain size of the titanium dioxide particulate is 5 to 100 nm and content of the titanium dioxide particulate in the titanium-containing coating film is 0.01 to 15 mass%.
