摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermochromism writing utensil that can quickly be sifted to frictional discoloring operation after handwriting, and also makes possible smooth writing during handwriting and smooth frictional discoloring operation during friction. <P>SOLUTION: A writing body 3 is fixedly housed in a barrel 2, wherein the writing body contains thermochromism ink inside and has a pen point 32 capable of discharging the thermochromism ink at one end. The pen point 32 is made to project forward from the front end of the barrel 2. In the front end of the barrel 2, a hole 9 is formed making a friction body 4 retractable therein, and in the barrel 2, a retractable mechanism 5 is installed moving the friction body 4 in and out of the hole 9. On the outer face of the barrel 2, an operation part 61 is installed that operates the retractable mechanism 5, and by manipulating the operation part 61, the friction body 4 is made to be in and out of the retraction hole 9. At handwriting, the front end of the friction body 4 is situated backward from the front end of the pen point 32, and at friction, the front end of the friction body 4 is situated forward from the front end of the pen point 32. The handwriting of the thermochromism ink is rubbed with the friction body 4, and the handwriting can be thermally discolored by the frictional heat caused by it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
