<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and a data recovery method, allowing restoration of the state of data stored in a nonvolatile main storage part for power restoration without using an additional power source such as a battery, and allowing decision of whether a storage area for storing backup data can be secured or not. <P>SOLUTION: A backup part 110 reads original data from the nonvolatile main storage part 120 when detecting write access sent from a processor part 160, generates the backup data, calculates free capacity of a nonvolatile backup memory 130, sends an interrupt signal to the processor part 160 when the free capacity is a threshold value or below, writes the backup data into the nonvolatile backup memory 130 when processing for generating a free area in the nonvolatile backup memory 130 is executed by the processor part 160 received the interrupt signal, and writes the data into the nonvolatile main storage part 120 after the backup data are written. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
