PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strap device that makes safe fixation possible between a strap and a drum while surely securing safety of a user even when an unexpected force is applied to the strap device or the like. SOLUTION: The strap device allows a user to carry an object by hanging, on a part of the user's body, and the annular strap is formed so that the ends are connected to each other outside the strap device. The strap includes a case-shaped strap device body to which the object is fitted and a winding part which is rotatably supported in the strap device body and takes up the strap. The winding part has a drum body which is rotatably supported on the strap device body, a strap groove which is provided in the drum body and where an intermediate part of the strap is housed, a projected part which is provided in the strap groove and comes in contact with the strap housed therein, and a drawing opening from which an end side part of the strap housed in the strap groove is drawn out.
