<p>The system has a shaft (12) with a conical section and a bearing surface. A bearing bush (10) comprises a conical bearing bore and another bearing surface, which is separated from the bearing surface of the shaft by a bearing gap (14) filled with a bearing fluid. The former bearing surface and/or the bearing bush comprises a bearing region (32) for producing hydrodynamic pressure in the bearing gap and forms a conical bearing. A magnetic axial bearing (42) is arranged at an end of the shaft and produces axial prestressing force on the shaft.</p>
