<p>The invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used for any transportation means provided with air tyre wheels. The wheel is provided with tyre rim which consists of at least two segments and the profile of which has a supporting surface with a diameter greater than the diameter of the edges of rim. The segments of the tyre rim are devoid of edges and rim seats for the tyre beads, thereby making easy the wheel mounting and the production of parts thereof. The aim of the invention is to secure road users in case of the sudden depressurization of the tyre and to enable a transportation means to travel to a repair site without damaging the tyre.</p>
