<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator and a lens module that can suppress the inflection vibration of a power driver and that will not cause deterioration in the image quality, even when an image sensor with a large number of pixels is used. <P>SOLUTION: An electromechanical transduction element 11 and a magnet 12 that constitute a power driver are configured, such that their centers of gravity coincide, in a plane perpendicular to the vibration direction of the electromechanical transducing element 11. The extensions of their centers of gravity in the vibration direction are located at the center point in the adhesion surface of the electromechanical transducing element 11 to the housing 15, thereby suppressing the inflection vibration of the magnet 12, which is a secondary vibration component, in a direction perpendicular to the primary vibration direction of the magnet 12. Deterioration of image quality that is caused by the inflection vibration can be prevented, even when a lens module using an image sensor with a large number of pixels the pixel pitch of which is smaller than in conventional image sensors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
