PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter for high temperature which can be stably used over a long time without causing the dusting and scattering of a filter material at all even in the temperature region higher than 500°C, and is optimal and useful for the inlet-air cleaning of clean oven and drier in pharmaceutical industry, food industry or upon the manufacturing of semiconductor, and for exhaust gas treatment of an incinerator in a nuclear installation, or the like. SOLUTION: In the air filter for high temperature, a filter material pack is stored and fixed in a filter frame via a sealing material, wherein the filter material pack 1 has such a structure that the filter material made by connecting glass fibers to one another with a single inorganic binder is pleated and pleats of the filter material pack are bound to each other by a bead-type adhesive 3 and the sealing between the filter material pack and the filter frame is performed by using a heat-resistant sealing material to further improve the sealing performance.
