PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment apparatus capable of automatically applying surface treatment, washing treatment and drying treatment in line production with small installation surface area. SOLUTION: The surface treatment apparatus includes a feeder 2 for feeding a charged workpiece into a treatment container 8 of a surface treatment machine 3 of next stage, the surface treatment machine 3 for surface-treating the workpiece by feeding a surface treating liquid into the treatment container 8 while rotating the treatment container 8, a workpiece recovery machine 4 for turning over the treatment container 8 and jetting water into the treatment container 8 from the lower side to make the workpiece flow out to collect the workpiece in a recovery container 45, a dryer 5 for receiving the recover container 45 from the workpiece recovery machine 4 and exposing the workpiece in the recovery container 45 to air to dry the workpiece and a carrying machine 6 for carrying the treatment container 8 between the surface treatment machines 3 and between the surface treatment machine 3 and the workpiece recovery machine 4, wherein one or more surface treatment machines 3 are included.
