PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a size-reduced antenna which has significantly lower cost than that of a chip antenna, and a size-reduced and low-cost communication device employing the antenna. SOLUTION: The antenna including a substrate, a ground layer, a conductive sheet and a feeding microstrip line is provided. The substrate has an upper surface and a lower surface. The ground layer is disposed at the lower surface. The conductive sheet is disposed at the substrate, substantially perpendicular to the ground layer and electrically connected to the ground layer.
