PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, server, image processing method, program and storage medium capable of altering only a confidential portion in image data. SOLUTION: Image data to be output are acquired by an image data acquiring section 111, designation of a confidential portion in the acquired image data is received by a receiving unit 112, and specification information that specifies the confidential portion whose designation has been received is generated by a generating unit 113. Then, the specification information generated is added to image data by an adding unit 114, thereby output data are generated, and the generated output data are printed on a recording medium by a plotter 105.
