PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical device and a projector which at least enable highly accurately obtaining a state of clogging of a dustproof filter. SOLUTION: The projector includes an air inlet 31 for taking the fresh air into an enclosure 30, an air outlet 32 for discharging air out of the enclosure 30 to the outside, a dustproof filter 33 attached to the air inlet 31, an exhaust fan 18 that discharges air out of the enclosure 30 to the outside through the air outlet 32, and a pressure sensor 23 that senses the internal pressure of the enclosure 30.
