DESIGN PLATE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a design plate that inhibits illuminating light irradiated from one face side of a design plate from being emitted to the other face side by dispersion; its manufacturing method; and a display device provided with the design plate. SOLUTION: The design plate is formed with many through-holes 11 communicating in the thickness direction so as to transmit illuminating light through the through-holes 11 to the other face 10b side by radiating the illuminating light from one face 10a side. The sidewall of each through-hole 11 includes a light regulating part for regulating at least part of the illuminating light to be radiated from being emitted to the other face 10b side by reflection.
