<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device that enables a voltage output to be changed over efficiently and an output switching method. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device includes: a voltage conversion section 10, which converts an input voltage from a power supply 30 into a prescribed output voltage; connection state detection sections 14<SB>1</SB>to 14<SB>N</SB>, which detect the connection states of load devices at a plurality of output terminals 13<SB>1</SB>to 13<SB>N</SB>and generate load detection signals P<SB>1</SB>to P<SB>N</SB>corresponding to the connection states; a control section 11, which determines an output terminal to which the output voltage is supplied out of the plurality of output terminals 13<SB>1</SB>to 13<SB>N</SB>according to the reception of the load detection signals P<SB>1</SB>to P<SB>N</SB>generated by the connection state detection sections 14<SB>1</SB>to 14<SB>N</SB>based on a predetermined order of feeding priority of the plurality of output terminals 13<SB>1</SB>to 13<SB>N</SB>; and switch sections 12<SB>1</SB>to 12<SB>N</SB>, which selectively change over and supply the output voltage to the output terminal determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
