PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processing device capable of surely conveying even a short medium from a first conveyance path to a second conveyance path and miniaturized by reducing a medium conveying mechanism. SOLUTION: This medium conveying device comprises a first conveyance path 1, a second conveyance path 2 branched from the first conveyance path, a blade 3 turnably provided near a branch point so as to select the conveying direction, and a conveying means for conveying the medium to the first conveyance path 1 or the second conveyance path 2 by pinching the medium.
