PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe allowing the insertion of a functional sheet in an inner sole part, and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The shoe includes a shoe sole abutting on a shoe vamp and the lower face of the inner sole, the inner sole includes a pocket part, the functional sheet is inserted into the pocket part and a sockliner is disposed thereon. In the method of manufacturing the shoe, the shoe vamp and the inner sole having the pocket are formed, the shoe vamp and the inner sole peripheral part are sewn to form a bag-shaped shoe vamp, a functional sheet dummy having a same shape and thickness of the functional sheet is inserted into the pocket of the inner sole, the bag-shaped shoe vamp is hung to a last, a shank is stuck to the inner sole face, the shoe vamp is set in a shoe sole molding, liquid polyurethane prepolymer is injected into a shoe sole molding cavity to be foamed and hardened and the shoe sole is molded. After that, the last is die-cut, the functional sheet dummy is removed from the inner sole part, the functional sheet is inserted in place thereof and then a cup insole is inserted.
