<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital display network having nodes for preventing any unnecessary band width consumption for giving flexibility to the way of the rendering and provisioning of content. <P>SOLUTION: The digital signage network includes: a plurality of content sources for generating content formatted according to a common data model; a distribution node for receiving content from the plurality of content sources; and a display node for displaying the content received from the distribution node. A digital signage network uses a common data model and a contract system to distribute data generated from a plurality of data sources to a number of displays.
