<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a questioning and responding apparatus capable of obtaining appropriate responses to questions. <P>SOLUTION: The questioning and responding apparatus includes: a respondent storage means for storing respondent information for specifying an respondent terminal associated with field information indicating a predetermined field; a question field storage means for storing the field information in association with question information indicating the content of a question from a questioner terminal; a question management means for accepting the question information sent from the questioner information and storing the question information in the question field storage means; a question distribution means for sending the question information to the respondent information; and a response relay means for accepting response information from the respondent information and sending the response information to the questioner terminal. The question management means accepts the field information specifying the field of the question information sent from the respondent information, and stores the field information in association with the question information.
