A digital electrophoretic display panel driving method and apparatus are provided to reduce a voltage error of a common electrode voltage by making a digital voltage error to control a variable resistance manually. In a digital electrophoretic display panel driving method and apparatus, a panel drive memory(24) is arranged in an electrophoretic display(2) in order to store digital panel drive data. In a connecting circuit, a controller chip(61) reads data through the connecting circuit from the panel drive memory, and it converts the read digital panel drive data into an analog voltage signal, and then transmits the analog voltage signal to a driving integrated circuit.
