BACK LIGHT UNIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING IT

A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display using the same are provided to prevent a lowering phenomenon of display quality due to crack of an optical sheet. A support side is coupled with both opened sections of a bottom cover. An optical sheet unit(150) includes the first long hole to which the first protrusion is inserted and the second long hole to which the second protrusion is inserted. Long holes are formed in a big dumbbell form in a corner part of optical sheets.
