APPARATUS OF MEASURING BONE MINERAL DENSITY HAVING SELECTED INITIAL STATE

An apparatus for measuring bone density is provided to diagnose the bone density accurately by setting ROI(Region Of Interest) about the bone density image through the user interface. An arm unit includes an X-ray generator(400) and an X-ray detector(600). The X-ray generator scans the spine or thigh of a subject. The X-ray detector generates the spine bone density image or thigh bone density image. The frame reciprocates the arm unit to a Y axis direction with regard to the X axis direction. A first controller(100) is arranged in one side of the arm unit. The first controller selects the initial state of the arm unit by changing the firmware. A diagnosis terminal(2000) provides the user interface for setting the second ROI about the thigh bone density image or the first ROI about the spine bone density image of the subject.
