<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform direct printing for a recording medium where an image to be printed is recorded. <P>SOLUTION: When a request to start a print job is reported from an image recorder and a specified setting associated with a printing medium is made, an image printer which is connected directly to the image recorder where the recording medium can be loaded and unloaded and prints an image that image data to be printed which are recorded in a recording medium represent acquires all the image data to be printed sent from the image recorder and stores them in a buffer memory that the image printer has.
