PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily identify or search photographed image.

SOLUTION: A digital still camera 10 is provided with a biological information sensor 31 which detects biological information of a photographer in photographing and an action information sensor 32 which detects action information of the photographer in the photographing. In the photographing, biological information of the photographer detected by the biological information sensor 31 and action information of the photographer detected by the action information sensor 32 are stored as meta-information of the photographer in the photographing in relation to image data.
