<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a composition for an electrode which includes sufficient conductivity, also includes a sufficient electrode area, and is suitably used for the electrode of an ion-exchange resin type actuator or the like, and to provide a method of forming an actuator layer using the manufacturing method, and the composition for the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In the composition for the electrode, a metal ion is adsorbed to an ion-exchange resin by mixing a solution containing the metal ion into a dispersed solution of the ion-exchange resin, the metal ion adsorbed to the ion-exchange resin is reduced in the dispersed solution by using a reducing agent, and fine particles are created in the ion-exchange resin, thus forming the dispersed solution into the pasty composition for the electrode. The electrode is manufactured by coating the created composition for the electrode on each of both faces of the ion-exchange resin film, and the actuator layer is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
