PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument with which the whole of a written part 6 on a writing medium 5 can be seen from an opposite side of the written part 6 without being interrupted by contents 2, by improving a conventional writing instrument in which the whole written part 6 written on the writing medium 5 cannot be viewed from the side of the writing instrument barrel opposite to a writing surface being interrupted by the contents 2. SOLUTION: The writing instrument comprises a prism barrel 3 which introduces light 7 around the contents 2 such as an ink storage tank to the written part 6 of the writing medium 5 avoiding the contents 2, whereby the whole of the written part 6 can be viewed from an opposite side of the contents 2. |
