PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly and quickly perform diagnosis of cardiac infarction. SOLUTION: A long-axis cross section extraction part 16a extracts a long-axis cross section in which the area of a range crossing an infarction range gets largest out of cross sections including the long axis of the heart of a subject in each of a plurality of three-dimensional images given in time series including the heart of the subject stored in a three-dimensional image storage part 15a. An infarction size calculation part 16b calculates the size of the infarction range included in the long-axis cross section. A short-axis cross section extraction part 16c extracts a short-axis cross section crossing the long axis with the most perpendicular angle in each of the plurality of three-dimensional images given in time series. The infarction size determination part 16b determines the size of the infarction range included in the short-axis cross section. Then, a display control part 16d controls to display the long-axis cross section, the size of the infarction range included in the long-axis cross section, and the short-axis cross section, and the size of the infarction range included in the short-axis cross section on a monitor provided on an output part 12 in time series.
