The device for producing cook-chill foods, comprises a heatable chamber (1), into which the concerned food is bringable, a supply pipe (2) for introducing a cryogenic liquid into the chamber, a sensor (3) for detecting the temperature in the chamber, and an outlet (5) for the chamber. The sensor has a temperature range of -85 to 200[deg] C. The cryogenic liquid is distributed in the chamber by an element for producing air circulation. The element comprises a fan impeller (4) rotatable around an axis and the cryogenic liquid is guidable on the fan impeller in the area of the axis.
