DISPLAY DEVICE AND HANDY TERMINAL USING THE SAME

A display device and a portable terminal including the same are provided to display a two dimensional image and a three dimensional image selectively and efficiently. By receiving an image signal from a driver(700), a main display panel(200) displays an image. The main display panel is fixed on the driver. A backlight assembly(600) irradiates the light on the rear side of the main display panel. By an image signal from the driver, a movable sub display panel(300) displays an image. A display device(101) comprises the first mode in which the sub display panel is oppositely arranged to the rear side of the main display panel and the second mode in which the sub display panel is oppositely arranged to the front side of the main display panel.
