NON-POWERED LAB-ON-A-CHIP AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

A non-powered lab-on-a-chip is provided to easily perform the movement of a sample to a sensing area and the washing of a sample by using capillary attraction and pressing force of the non-restoring elastic polymer thin film without external power. A non-powered lab-on-a-chip comprises a sample injection part; a reaction chamber(9) in which chemical analysis of a sample is performed; a micro channel for sample flowing the sample to a reaction chamber by capillary phenomenon; a detective electrode(8) and a reference electrode(6) which perform chemical analysis of the sample in the reaction chamber; a reservoir(1) for buffer solution; a micro channel(11) for buffer solution which is connected to the reservoir and flows the buffer solution from the reservoir by capillary phenomenon; and a latch(12) which is positioned on the top of the reservoir and when the press is applied, is moved to the lower part of the reservoir and flows in the buffer solution to the reaction chamber.
