Disclosed is a film for thermal sterilization packaging, which has an excellent total balance among properties including transparency, impact resistance, heat-sealability, an anti-blocking property and heat resistance. Specifically disclosed is a film for thermal sterilization packaging, which is characterized by comprising an outer layer (a first outer layer) and an intermediate layer or another outer layer (a second outer layer). The outer layer (the first outer layer) comprises a propylene-ethylene block copolymer (A) composed of 90 to 80 wt% of a moiety insoluble in n-decan at room temperature (Dinsol) and 10 to 20 wt% of a moiety soluble in n-decan at room temperature (Dsol), wherein the moiety insoluble in n-decan at room temperature (Dinsol) has a melt flow rate (MFR; ASTM D1238, 230°C, loading of 2.16 kg) of 1 to 10 g/10 min and a melting point of 150 to 170°C as measured on a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and fulfils a specific requirement, and the moiety soluble in n-decan at room temperature (Dsol) fulfils a specific requirement. The intermediate layer or the another outer layer (the second outer layer) comprises a propylene-ethylene block copolymer (B) which is different from the propylene-ethylene block copolymer (A).
