<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane-electrode assembly and a fuel cell in which voltage drop is small on current collection from a gas diffusion layer to a separator and electrode reaction is hardly blocked on a catalyst layer in the vicinity of a gas passage and power generation capability is excellent. <P>SOLUTION: In the membrane-electrode assembly 10 wherein a solid polymer electrode membrane 11 forming catalyst layers 12a, 12b on both sides is sandwiched by gas diffusion layers 14a, 14b, conductive thin films 13a, 13b made of gold and having a vent interconnected from one surface side to the other surface side are formed between the membrane-electrode assembly 10 and the catalyst layers 12a, 12b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
