PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive protection member capable of being easily attached and fixed and protecting electric wires or the like by avoiding fall due to an external force or the like. SOLUTION: The protection member 30 has a nearly U-shape in plan view from the Y-axis direction (width direction), and comprises a leg section 31a constituting one side of the U-shape, a leg section 31b constituting the other side of the U-shape, a claw section 32a protruding into the interior side of the U-shape in the tip end section 40 of the leg section 31a and a claw section 32b protruding into the interior side of the U-shape in the tip end section 40 of the leg section 31b.
