PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a wireless slave unit not compatible with an Internet telephone to inform information regarding the call when the slave unit is called via the Internet. SOLUTION: A caller name and a network ID which are contained in an IP packet received through an Internet are referred when an Internet telephone call in a master telephone is a voice call (S151: YES), and the caller name and calling number are obtained from a caller list held in the master telephone (S154). The obtained caller information is converted to a control signal of information form in accordance with a caller information display function (S156), then the converted caller information is transmitted to a slave telephone not compatible with the network and calling the slave telephone is started (S157). The slave telephone receiving the notice of caller information from the master telephone 10 displays the name and calling number based on the received caller information and outputs a ringing tone.
