PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system, a photographing method, a control apparatus and a program, for improving security by controlling photographing process by an imaging apparatus in accordance with similarity calculated by biometric authentication. SOLUTION: The photographing system reads biological data from a person as an authentication object, calculates similarity based on result of collation between the relevant biological data obtained and the true biological data of the person as the authentication object, authenticates based on comparison between the relevant calculated similarity and the preset threshold value, and controls the photographing processes by the imaging apparatus based on the calculated similarity when the relevant authentication is completed successfully.
