PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure or improve performance even in the situation of device miniaturization or the use of many metallic parts. SOLUTION: An antenna device includes an antenna element and a metal plate which is disposed in the proximity of the antenna element so as to face a null point in directional characteristics of the antenna element and connected to the ground. The metal plate and the antenna element are disposed in this manner, so that an effect to compensate the degradation of performance caused by being surrounded by metallic parts or to improve the performance furthermore can be obtained.
