PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet jet apparatus which can achieve both a high processing speed (printing speed) and highly fine liquid droplet jetting, by using both a line type head and a serial type head together. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 is equipped with a paper conveyance mechanism 6 which conveys printing paper P in a predetermined conveyance direction, the line type first heads 2a-2d, and the serial type second head 3. Moreover, the printer 1 is configured to be able to carry out: the first jetting action of jetting liquid droplets from a plurality of first nozzles of the first heads 2 to the printing paper P while conveying the printing paper P by the paper conveyance mechanism 6 in the conveyance direction; and the second jetting action of jetting liquid droplets from the second nozzles of the second head to the printing paper P while moving the second head 3 in a scan direction in a state with conveyance of the printing paper P by the paper conveyance mechanism 6 stopped.
