<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of oxidation catalyst device for cleaning exhaust gas capable of oxidizing particulates in exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine at a lower temperature to clean it. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of oxidation catalyst device for cleaning exhaust gas includes: a step of burning a plurality of metal compounds composing composite metal oxide, citric acid, and water to obtain a burned product; a step of manufacturing slurry by mixing the burned product, water, and a binder which is sol comprising zirconia to crush it; a step of applying the slurry to a porous filter base material 2; and a step of burning the porous filter base material 2 to form a porous catalyst layer 3 carried on the porous filter base material 2. The porous catalyst layer 3 has pores whose diameter is within the range of 0.02-5 μm, and the whole porosity of the porous filter base material 2 and the porous catalyst layer 3 is within the range of 50-60 vol.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
