PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage collection box of a structure less in assembling man-hours and highly productive. SOLUTION: The garbage collection box has a garbage storage part formed by enclosing all sides with right and left side panels 2, 3, a front panel 4 and a rear panel 5 and a lid panel 1 provided for opening and closing the garbage storage part, wherein the lid panel 1 is formed by using a plurality of hollow shape members 11-18 and by fitting the hollow shape members to each other. The hollow shape members 11-18 are long members of a rectangular shape in cross section comprising top boards of front and back both faces on a long side and side boards of right and left both faces on a short side and the right and left boards are respectively formed with a fit member of a male shape and a fit member of a female shape.
