PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate transmission of position information between an information processing device and a navigation device to effectively use the position information. SOLUTION: The information processing device comprises: a storing means for storing a position information file containing at least position information; and a recording means for recording the position information file on a recording medium. The navigation device comprises: a self-position detection means; a read-out means capable of reading out the position information file from the recording medium; a displaying means; and a controlling means for displaying a map image based on the self position, selecting one icon image among a plurality of icon images stored in advance according to a position information file corresponding to a range in a displayed map depending on the category of the position information file, and displaying the selected icon image on the map image depending on the position information contained in the position information file.
