<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid battery which is manufactured by a simple manufacturing process and by a high-productivity method and has the improved interface affinity between an electrode layer and a solid electrolyte layer. <P>SOLUTION: The solid battery is configured as follows. A solid electrolyte 12 is interposed between a positive electrode including an active material 14 and a negative electrode including an active material 16. The active material of the positive electrode and/or that of the negative electrode respectively include each metal oxide 18, 20 that prevents a reaction of the active material. The active material (including the metal oxide) of the positive electrode or that of the negative electrode has an average particle size of ≤5 μm. The solid battery manufacturing process can include an integral firing step of an electrode layer and a solid electrolyte layer. In the step, it is possible to avoid an undesirable reaction between the electrode active material and the solid electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
