摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve brake performance by stabilizing the sliding displacement of a friction pad in braking, while securing a braking characteristic when traveling at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: An inlet side arm 4, an outlet side arm 5 and an intermediate side arm 6 are separately arranged in the rotational direction of a disc 1 in an installation member 2 of a disc brake. The inlet side arm 4 and the intermediate side arm 6 of the installation member 2 are integrally connected by a reinforcing beam 7 in a position being the outer side of the disc 1. On the other hand, the outlet side arm 5 and the intermediate side arm 6 are constituted so that its outer side is not connected by the beam. Thus, rigidity larger than that of the outlet side arm 5 is applied to the intermediate side arm 6 of the installation member 2. Thus, even if the intermediate side arm 6 is deflected and deformed in the rotational direction of the disc 1 by torque from a friction pad at the braking of a vehicle, a deformation quantity becomes smaller than that of the outlet side arm 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
