<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video playback apparatus capable of reducing stops of a data input because an input queue becomes filled, and a control method for the device. <P>SOLUTION: When the data amount of either a video data queue 1,514a or an audio data queue 1,514b becomes equal to or more than an upper limit value set in advance, and also when the data amount of the other queue is not higher than the lower limit value set in advance, the capacity of the queue that becomes equal to or more than the upper limit value is temporarily increased from a reference value set in advance only by the prescribed ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
