PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not a rider drives regularly. SOLUTION: A vehicle drive control device includes: storage sections 104a to 104c storing helmet profile reference data on a helmet 80 when the rider D drives normally; a camera 68 substantially directed to a direction corresponding to the helmet 80 and picking up an image; an infrared LED 70 substantially directed to the direction and projecting infrared light; and a comparison section 106 comparing the image acquired by the camera 68 with the helmet profile reference data, allowing operation of an engine E when the image corresponds to the helmet profile reference data, and prohibiting the operation when the image does not correspond thereto.
