PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording head, a composite thin film magnetic head and a magnetic disk device, which provide a sufficient recording field using a thin film and a wide dimension margin of a taper structure part. SOLUTION: A main magnetic pole 11 has a tapered structure in a film in-plane direction, as well as a tapered structure part 12 as a thin laminated film where a taper angle changes in a film thickness direction in two stages at a first taper structure part 13 and a second taper structure part 14, so that the recording field monotonously increases with respect to a film thickness of the taper structure part 12, and taper angle dependency is reduced at a magnetic gradient.
