<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone capable of implementing a consumption current reduction technology which is suppressed in erroneous determination and applicable in a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile phone (1) includes: a search means (search part 121) for searching for a peripheral base station; a measuring means (measuring part 122) for measuring a reception signal level from the peripheral base station; a determination means (determination part 131) for determining whether or not the mobile phone itself is in a specific place during waiting; and a stopping means (stopping part 132) for stopping at least one of searching for a peripheral base station by the search means and measuring the reception signal level from the peripheral base station by the measuring means in the case that the determination means determines that the mobile phone itself is in the specific place. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
