PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for a motorcycle superior in design and capable of securing a sufficient amount of light. SOLUTION: In the headlight 10 for the motorcycle, lamp units 18, 19 for a high beam and lamp units 14, 15, 16, 17 for a low beam are vertically displaced and disposed. The headlight 10 is disposed so that the uppermost end part U1 of light emitting areas B1, B2 of the lamp units 18, 19 for the high beam, a first intermediate position C1 at an equal distance from the lowermost end part D1, the uppermost end part U2 of the light emitting areas A1, A2, A3, A4 of the lamp units 14, 15, 16, 17 for the low beam, and a second intermediate position C2 at an equal distance from the lowermost end part D2 are matched.
