PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can display a customized screen which is easy to operate and its relevant technique. SOLUTION: Information on the customized screen GC which is customized for specific users based on customize information for the specific users is acquired (step S34), and it is determined whether an unusable function, a function which cannot be used by the specific image forming apparatus, is included in the functions corresponding to buttons in the customize screen GC (step S35). When the unusable function is included in the functions corresponding to the buttons in the customized screen GC, the customize screen after change which has changed the display status of the button corresponding to the unusable function concerned is displayed in a control panel of the specific image forming apparatus (steps S36 and S37).
