PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the abnormalities of the tracking rotation of a liquid bath, when the liquid bath is inclined by a large amount. SOLUTION: A rotor sphere 2 equipped with a gyrorotor 2a inside is supported rotatably by a center pin 3 projected from upper side at the inside the liquid bath 1. A gyrocompass detects as the directional change due to the rotation of the liquid bath 1 to the rotor sphere 2, corresponding to the directional change of a mobile body. For the detection of the rotation of the liquid bath 1, both the tracking electrodes 1d and 1e which are separated angle of 180 degrees and are prepared one pair are mounted as a shape which is unevenly distributed and longer in the upper side than in the lower side, on the equator of the inside of the liquid bath 1, corresponding to both ends of the belt-like electrode 2c arranged along the equator of the rotor sphere 2.
