摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a nozzle vane drive mechanism in a turbocharger with a variable nozzle mechanism from being damaged by frozen condensation water. <P>SOLUTION: The turbocharger 11 is provided with a turbine housing 12 incorporating a turbine wheel 17, a compressor housing 13 incorporating a compressor wheel 18 and a center housing 14 connecting the turbine housing 12 and the compressor housing 13. In a storage chamber 27 between the turbine housing 12 and the center housing 14, the nozzle vane drive mechanism 37 is stored. A water storage wall 39 is formed on the lower part of a connecting tube part 123 of the turbine housing 12 so as to project outward from the outer circumference of the circumferential shape of the connecting tube part 123.
