FIELD: textile; paper. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns non-woven material including a mix of monofilament and short fiber, and method of its obtainment. Under the invention, monofilaments are interconnected mainly mechanically by entangling fiber and filament. Monofilament is positioned in the material with projection cover of at least 1.1 but under 1.7. ^ EFFECT: manufacturing of non-woven material where monofilament and short fibers are well-integrated to each other; cost-efficient production of the claimed material. ^ 14 cl, 5 tbl, 1 dwg
